Job summary

u-blox AG, based in Thalwil, Switzerland, seeks a Senior Application Engineer (APNT) to support global customers. You will bridge product development, R&D, and field teams, ensuring customers gain design-in guidance and robust support for GNSS technologies.

Ideal candidates have software and hardware insight, strong communication, and willingness to travel. The role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities for growth within a globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; additional European or APAC language is a plus.
• Ability to understand customer system architectures and provide expert technical support.
• Experience with GNSS/APNT knowledge is valued.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for GNSS applications.
• Author and contribute to technical product documentation and manuals.
• Deliver customized design-in solutions and prototypes to customers.
• Analyze non-conformities and support root-cause investigations with R&D and Quality.
• Gather customer feedback and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Support from design-in through maintenance phases for seamless integration.
• Lead trainings and workshops for Field Application Engineers and customers.
