The candidate will analyse market trends, work with Fundamentals Analysts to enhance models, and manage positions while maintaining strong counterparty relationships. A strong track record in gas trading is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in economics or a quantitative field.
• Proven track record as a Natural Gas Proprietary Trader.
• Experience and proven track record as a Natural Gas Proprietary or Flow Trader.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and execute trading strategies for European gas location spreads.
• Analyse energy market trends and data to optimize strategies.
• Collaborate with Fundamentals Analysts on models and enhancements.
• Manage trading positions and oversee the team’s portfolios.
• Maintain strong relationships with counterparties and brokers.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal guidelines.
