Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Software Developer you'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid cloud and AI journeys.

Your primary responsibilities include:

1. Envision, design, and build the software infrastructure that keeps the solutions running.
2. Challenge ideas, identify problems, and create efficient solutions.
3. Develop flexible, maintainable, and scalable application components.
4. Collaborate with development peers and lead the way staying up to date with tools and technology trends.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

1. Ideally up to 3 years of experience in full-stack development
2. Extensive experience as a Senior Software Engineer in an agile environment
3. Extensive Java 8+, SpringBoot and Maven expertise
4. Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
5. Some familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
6. Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
7. Pro-activity and ability to push things forward
8. Fluent in English and German is a must (written & spoken), French and/or Italian are a valuable plus
9. Swiss nationality or valid Swiss work permit / EU passport

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

1. Good CI/CD knowledge as well as GitLab/GitHub pipelines templates and reuse practices
