Job summary

Lightly AG, a Zurich-based AI company, is seeking seasoned FP&A professionals for a remote, project-based contractor role. You will design realistic FP&A tasks, develop reference financial models, and evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and business relevance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in FP&A, strong Excel skills, and experience with budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario analysis. This role offers flexible hours and is remote, with compensation per task based on performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years FP&A or related experience in corporate finance or finance business partnering.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling with transparent formulas and documented assumptions.
• Experience owning budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, headcount planning, and investment evaluations.
• Strong understanding of financial statements (income stmt, balance sheet, cash flow) and liquidity.
• Ability to build scenario-based financial models and assess financial impact.
• Strong analytical judgment and ability to reconcile complex information across docs.
• Excellent written English communication and ability to write precise instructions.

Responsibilities

• Design FP&A tasks and business scenarios reflecting real-world planning workflows.
• Develop financial models and reference solutions with traceable formulas and documented assumptions.
• Create tasks covering budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, and headcount planning.
• Build integrated financial analyses including income statements and cash flow.
• Evaluate AI-generated financial models for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify errors, unsupported assumptions, and inconsistencies in models.
• Write precise task instructions, reference answers, and concise executive explanations.
• Apply evaluation guidelines with evidence-based rationales for assessments.
