Bank J. Safra Sarasin is seeking a (Senior) FIX Engineer Specialist to join a team that develops enhancements for our trading and related systems, including customization of FIX interfaces and project management tasks.

You will customize FIX interfaces, define IT processes and workflows for order routing and trading systems, and implement, configure and test new functionalities while supporting the business side and creating technical documentation.

Qualifikationen

• University-level degree in IT or natural sciences with 5 years of FIX interfaces experience.
• Working knowledge of FIX Protocol, TLS and encryption; Windows OS and TCP/IP.
• Experience with FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Suite, Front Arena AMS, Avaloq is a plus.

As a (Senior)FIX Engineer Specialistat Bank J. Safra Sarasin you arein a team which develops enhancements and new solutions not only for our group-wide execution trading system(FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Suite - Front Arena AMS and Avaloq) but alsoforsurrounding systems. Additionally, youprovidecustomization and workflow definition tasks, mainly for FIX interfaces, including project management work.

Your Responsibilities

• Customize FIX interfaces
• Define IT processes and workflows within our order routing and trading systems, e.g. FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Suite - Front Arena AMS (market access, order routing, settlement) and Avaloq
• Implement, configure and test new functionalities
• Analyse and support on business level
• Create technical documentation

Your Profile

• Higher education (university / FH) inIT or natural sciences, with 5years of practical experience in the field ofFIX interfaces
• Required industry specific knowledge as well as basic knowledge in Trading (Eq, FI, Deriv, FX)
• Hands-on experience withFIX Protocol, TLS, encryption and profound IT-affinity, in particular with Windows NOS, TCP/IP
• Knowledge of FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Suite; Front Arena AMS, Avaloq and/or Python is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to work with various stakeholders and willingness to take responsibility
• Capability to work independently and ability to work under pressure
• Fluency in English; fluency in German is a plus
