ROLE OVERVIEW:

As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of the company’s financial closing process. You will ensure financial integrity, regulatory compliance, accurate reporting, and cost control. The profile is able to manage different topic in the finance department and is able to deal with different business aspects of wholesale and e-commerce.

Your experience in the apparel, sporting goods, or lifestyle brands sector is highly preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, managing the consolidation process of financial statements for the group legal entities
• Manage GL activities on a daily and monthly basis
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights
• Cooperate on the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (supply chain, sales, marketing, operations) to track performance against budget.
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal financial controls and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements in applicable jurisdictions.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks as needed, as well as oversee general administrative tasks
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and transparency as a team member

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5–8 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in apparel, consumer goods, or DTC brands.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory control, and financial planning in a product-based business.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and financial modeling tools (Excel, Power BI).
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
