Job summary

KPMG AG in Lausanne seeks an experienced accounting and payroll professional to advise national and international clients on financial management and payroll compliance, leveraging Swiss CO, Swiss GAAP RPC, US GAAP or IFRS where needed.

You will manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger close, prepare financial statements and VAT returns, and support payroll for diverse employee populations. Strong Excel skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Commercial diploma or Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required.
• Payroll experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with standard MS Office tools.
• Fluent in French with advanced English skills (C1).

Responsibilities

• Support and advise clients on financial management and payroll compliance.
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger through closing.
• Prepare financial statements and VAT returns.
• Coordinate payroll for diverse employee populations and stakeholder teams.
• Contribute to technology-enabled process improvements and automation opportunities.
