Job summary

Johnson Electric seeks a Senior Finance Analyst to own the financial review for the European operations. You will oversee P&L and balance sheet reviews, Swiss statutory reporting and CIT calculations, collaborating with our Shared Service Centre and Finance Leadership to drive accurate, compliant insights.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• CPA qualification advantageous.
• 7+ years experience in accounting, controlling or financial analysis in an international manufacturing group.
• Strong accounting knowledge: month-end close, IFRS reporting, Swiss statutory accounting and tax.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI experience.
• ERP experience, preferably Oracle; exposure to consolidation tools.
• English mandatory; French or German knowledge a plus.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset with proactive risk management.
• Independent, deadline-driven and stress-resilient.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across international teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly P&L review, analysing variances against budget, forecast and prior year, and providing explanations.
• Review the monthly balance sheet and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution.
• Oversee provisions, accruals, intercompany balances, and AP/AR/fixed asset reconciliations.
• Prepare financial analysis and management commentary for European Finance Leadership.
• Prepare the CIT computations, including tax provision and deferred tax, with reconciliations.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors on filings and assessments.
• Own the JE statutory reporting calendar and SNB filings.
• Support Swiss statutory financial statements and reconciliation to IFRS reporting.
• Coordinate the external audit and manage responses to auditor queries.
• Collaborate with SSC Hatvan for GL/FA, AP, AR, VAT.
• Maintain internal control documentation for closing and tax processes; drive improvements.
• Contribute to automation and reporting improvements (Power BI, Excel, AI tools).
