Roche in Basel seeks a Senior Technical Sub-Project Manager for Electrical Engineering to lead MID/low voltage power distribution and ELV system integration within a GMP-compliant pharmaceutical manufacturing context.

You will own technical design and specifications, perform critical load analyses, and coordinate with authorities and contractors across Europe. A relevant degree, 7+ years’ experience, and engineering registration are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 7+ years in industrial or pharmaceutical environments
• Deep expertise in European MV/LV power systems and EN-standard fire alarm engineering
• Knowledge of IEC 60364, EN 54, VDE/NF electrical and safety codes

Aufgaben

• Lead the engineering and specification of medium-/low-voltage power distribution systems per IEC/EN standards
• Own critical infrastructure like MCCs, main distribution boards, UPS, generators
• Perform load calculations, short-circuit studies, and selectivity analyses for high availability
• Direct ELV systems integration: structured cabling, IT networks, security (access, CCTV)
• Ensure interoperability and cybersecurity alignment for low-voltage and data systems
• Act as technical lead for fire detection/alarm systems per EN 54 and related directives
• Oversee fire alarm integration with fire suppression/sprinkler systems (VdS/EU guidelines)
• Interface with AHJs, notified bodies, and insurers for approvals
• Manage external firms/contractors through design, construction, and SAT/FAT phases
• Travel up to 50% for international assignments
