Zusammenfassung

Roche is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering leader to drive design and compliance of European power systems for a global manufacturing network. You will own critical infrastructure, coordinate ELV systems, and ensure safety and reliability across multiple sites.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage risk, and interact with authorities and auditors, with travel up to 50%+. This role demands strong communication, project leadership, and adherence to EN/IEC standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years in industrial/pharma environments
• Deep expertise in European MV/LV power systems and EN-standard fire alarm engineering
• Understanding of European electrical and safety codes (IEC 60364 series, EN 54, VDE/NF)
• Proven track record managing complex sub-projects with risk and stakeholder engagement
• Professional engineering registration or Eur Ing; PMP preferred
• Willingness to travel 50%+

Aufgaben

• Lead the engineering and specification of medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems per IEC/EN standards and local regulations
• Own critical infrastructure such as MCCs, main distribution boards, UPS, and emergency generators (DIN/VDE where applicable)
• Perform load calculations, short-circuit studies, and selectivity analyses for high availability
• Direct ELV systems integration (structured cabling, IT networks, access control, CCTV)
• Ensure interoperability and cybersecurity for LV and data systems per EU norms
• Lead fire detection/alarm systems to EN 54 standards and local directives
• Manage integration between fire alarms and suppression systems per European guidelines
• Serve as technical interface to AHJ, notified bodies, insurers
• Oversee external engineers/contractors through design, construction, SAT/FAT
