The role requires 7+ years in automotive software with 3+ years in Functional Safety, hands-on experience with Infineon AURIX, and strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, or a comparable field.
• At least 7 years in automotive software and 3 years in Functional Safety (ISO 26262 or IEC 61508).
• Hands-on experience with Functional Safety standards (ISO 26262/IEC 61508).

Aufgaben

• Develop technical concepts for implementing functional safety features in embedded software.
• Support the Functional Safety Manager in FSC creation and review and system requirements.
• Perform software safety analyses (DSA, FMEA for software).
• Lead and maintain software safety requirements with verification criteria.
• Align functional safety features with software architecture in collaboration with the Software Architect.
• Ensure ASPICE process compliance and ASIL/SIL alignment across development activities.
• Develop a roadmap for functional safety features based on the Safety Plan and project releases.
• Serve as main contact for external auditors in Software Functional Safety.
