Viasat in Lausanne is seeking a Senior Electronic Hardware Engineer to reinforce the Product Development team. You will own the full electronics development cycle for highly reliable analog and mixed-signal boards for phased array antennas, in collaboration with System, RF, Mechanical and Software teams.

The role requires 7–10 years of hardware experience in regulated environments, expertise in low-noise power electronics, high-speed interfaces and strong documentation.

Qualifikationen

• 7-10 years of hardware/electrical engineering in regulated/demanding environments (airborne/space/automotive/medical).
• Experience transferring products from development to production and supporting field issues.
• Design of low-voltage, high-current power electronics with low-noise and robustness requirements.
• Digital electronics and high-speed interfaces.
• Concept breadboards, schematics/layout, simulation, prototype bring-up, verification, and manufacturing docs.
• Design for Manufacturing/Assembling/Testing/Maintenance (DfX).
• Proficient with lab equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, VNA).
• Clear, concise English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Own the full development cycle of electronic boards from concept to production.
• Design, test, optimize and integrate reliable analog/mixed-signal electronics for phased array antennas.
• Lead requirements, architecture and circuit design, component selection and PCB layout; document design and manufacturing readiness.
• Collaborate with System, RF, Mechanical and Software teams and external partners.
