Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Process Safety Manager for its Schaffhausen site to strengthen the Environmental Health & Safety department. You will plan, implement, and maintain comprehensive PSM programs in line with EKAS directives and corporate standards.

The role requires 5–10 years of PSM experience, strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration, and fluency in German and English. Knowledge of SAP and MS-Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Chemical engineer with training in occupational safety and health.
• 5-10 years of relevant PSM experience.
• Proficient in SAP and MS-Office.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement and maintain process safety programs per EKAS directives and Johnson & Johnson standards.
• Maintain knowledge of the Risk Register for PSM-related risks.
• Oversee ODH considerations and related programs.
• Manage inventory of pressurized systems and related risk analyses.
• Serve as lead auditor in J&J EHS audits and support audit activities.
• Act as SME for EHS aspects within the API/SM business unit at Schaffhausen.
• Coordinate site PSM Core Team and track progress of PSM Excellence program.
