AlpineAI AG is seeking a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to join a small team in Zürich. You will own end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure management, collaborating with developers and driving reliable releases.

On-call duties are part of the role and you will shape scalable architectures with security considerations. The candidate should have hands-on experience with containers, Kubernetes, and stateful workloads, plus scripting in Python/TypeScript/JVM and

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes in production.
• Experience with GitOps-style delivery and automation.
• Scripting skills in a language like Python, TypeScript or JVM languages.
• Experience handling secrets and access as code (SOPS, Vault or similar).
• Operational experience with stateful workloads and databases.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with developers to build reliable, scalable pipelines and automated releases.
• Coach frontend and backend engineers to monitor their code in live environments.
• Lead discussions on scalable architecture considering trade-offs, security, and cost.
• Streamline software releases with DevOps best practices.
• Manage, monitor, and scale infrastructure and hardware supporting models.
• Maintain documentation on deployments, processes, and tools.
• Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance under pressure.
• Share on-call duties with the team.
