Vontobel Holding AG in Zurich seeks an experienced DevOps Platform Engineer to design, build, operate, and continuously improve a scalable, enterprise-grade platform for development teams.

You will enable automation via CI/CD, IaC, and self-service tooling, with a focus on Azure, security, and AI-assisted development, while guiding engineers and promoting a strong DevOps culture.

What would your role be?

Design, build, operate, and continuously improve a scalable, resilient platform and workplaces for our development teams.

Enable automation through CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and self-service tooling.

Demonstrate deep expertise in Azure cloud, automation tooling, and programming languages.

Evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance platform capabilities and efficiency.

Drive DevOps security by implementing secure coding standards, SAST/DAST, and software supply chain security, while embedding security best practices across the entire software development lifecycle.

Support the adoption of cutting-edge AI coding assistants and autonomous agents, shaping how they are used to improve developer experience and engineering workflows.

Act as a trusted partner to development teams by actively supporting, guiding, and educating engineers, driving best practices, and fostering a strong DevOps culture across the organization.

What are we looking for?

Familiar with different tools and solutions regarding developer workplaces, CI/CD, code security, AI coding assistance.

At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.

Highly motivated, committed, used to taking on responsibility and eager to continuously develop yourself further.

Excellent communication skills in English; German language proficiency is an advantage.
