Zusammenfassung

Zühlke Group in Switzerland is seeking a DevOps Engineer to bridge the developer world with the operations world and support all parties with the needed infrastructure. You are a DevOps advocate for mindset and tooling, valuing longstanding DevOps technologies to help our customers continuously improve their environments.

You’ll balance hands-on work with strategic thinking, ensure production and development environments run smoothly, and collaborate closely with development teams and hosting

Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Experience with Shell, Java, Jenkins, Ansible, Maven, Gradle, Git, GitLab and Artifactory.
• Strong communication skills and ability to understand business processes.
• German and English fluency; technical degree is a plus.

As a DevOps Engineer you bridge the developer world with the operations world and support all parties with needed infrastructure. You are a DevOps advocate for mindset and tooling, value the longstanding DevOps technologies and help our customers to continuously improve their DevOps environment.

• You are responsible for ensuring the operation of production and development environments, as well as resolving disruptions in close collaboration with development teams and hosting providers.
• You bring operational excellence into development projects and ensure their implementation with high quality.
• Building and continuously optimizing automation for builds, deployments, testing, and monitoring are also within your responsibilities.
• Strong stakeholder management and subtle leadership skills as influencing without authority and managing political nuances are daily realities.
• You provide customer consultation regarding new infrastructure projects.

What’s Important To Us

• You have already worked for several years in software development and architecture and are also familiar with operational topics.
• You have experience in the following technologies: Shell (Unix Shell/PowerShell), Java, Jenkins, Ansible, Maven, Gradle, Git, GitLab, Artifactory.
• A quick grasp, strong communication skills and an understanding of business processes help you to understand complex client problems.
• A technical degree (University of Applied Sciences, university, ETH, or equivalent) would be a plus.
• Daily communication and interaction with customers and colleagues bring you joy – fluent in German and English.
