Jobbeschreibung

The Technology & Operations division designs and integrates software applications ranging from portfolio management systems and trading platforms through to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations. It supports business operations and develops custodian and funds administration services.

The Datacentre Services unit is responsible for building reliable infrastructures that host applications throughout the Pictet Group. As such, we design, develop and operate platforms that balance security, compliance, performance and resilience on the public and private cloud.

Your role

  • Design, build, operate and continuously improve infrastructure platforms, including centralised storage and SAN.
  • Keep infrastructure secure, up to date and online.
  • Develop internal tooling and processes that improve efficiency and reduce operational risks.
  • Promote infrastructure software development practices and DevOps.
  • Teach, mentor, grow and advise other domain experts and teams in the organisation.
  • Participate in on-call duties in rotation with other team members.

Your profile

  • Engineering or university degree.
  • Significant knowledge of architecture topics such as integration, security and storage technologies (Kubernetes, Ceph, Cinder).
  • Proficiency in software craftsmanship practices, programming and scripting languages (Python, Java, Go, bash, PowerShell).
  • Experience with infrastructure management tools (monitoring and observability, logging, configuration management).
  • Deeply curious, ready to help, always learning new skills and technologies.
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Focuses on proactive strategies to prevent issues before they occur.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate

WHAT YOU MIGHT WORK ON

Optimises critical workloads on centralised storage.

Automates operations and implements monitoring systems on legacy products.

Contributes to defining the global storage offering at Pictet, including data tiering and supported protocols.
