For our client in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced, and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer / Cloud Architect (Azure).

Our client is looking for a skilled and proactive Senior DevOps Engineer / Cloud Architect (Azure) to help shape the architecture of a new, cloud-native trading platform. The role involves addressing key challenges such as security, red zone integration, NSG rules, and ingress strategies, while also evaluating potential WMPC connectivity.

They are seeking a strong communicator with the drive to challenge the status quo and push solutions forward in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• Architect and implement complex infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure , with a focus on AKS , DMZ , firewall policies , and Swiss region-specific restrictions
• Lead the transition of Istio-based service mesh to a modern, Helm / Helm Charts -driven deployment model
• Review and challenge existing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) implementations using Terraform , ensuring compliance, scalability, and best practices
• Provide architectural guidance on networking , firewall rules , and communication flows between on-premises systems and Azure public cloud
• Act as a DevSecOps consultant , advising on secure deployment patterns, group policies, and governance
• Coach and mentor engineering teams, offering senior-level consultancy on VMs , policies , DevOps pipelines , and automation
