Roche Diagnostics Rotkreuz is seeking a Principal Design Researcher and Service Designer to lead research delivery, build strong client relationships, and push customer-centric design across global programs. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, translate business needs into actionable design strategies, and shape workshops and thought leadership within a diverse, global setting.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in design research within medtech or regulated environments, excellent presentation

Qualifications

• Strong in-depth knowledge in Design Research and broad knowledge of related design disciplines (i.e. Product Design and Service Design).
• Ability to orchestrate the research activity across multiple projects.
• Proven track record in creating experience strategy based on customer insights.
• Ability to manage qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and data integration.
• Experience guiding junior designers on healthcare solutions and regulations.
• 5-10 years in med. tech or regulated environments.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate ideas clearly.

Responsabilités

• Leads design research teams in large/global cross-chapters projects.
• Translates business objectives and customer needs into design decisions via design thinking.
• Produces deliverables and leads client conversations within their discipline.
• Analyzes design challenges from multiple perspectives and translates into actionable activities.
• Coaches cross-chapter designers on methodologies and best practices.
• Represents the CXSD team in Roche events and articulates the business value of design.
