Do you master Relational databases? Are you looking for a stimulating and exciting role?

Do you like the challenges like enhance DB automation in an Enterprise company with different database platforms? Do you take pleasure working in a multicultural Team?

If so, the Database team located in Zurich Oerlikon and Bedano (Lugano area) is currently seeking for your talent as Database Administrator, either immediately or by mutual agreement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that database instances are up and running
• Drive the evolution of the Database infrastructure such as new solutions, migrations to latest database release
• Implement latest security patches on the database platforms
• Collaborate with developers in performance optimizations of T-SQL / PLSQL code
• Ensure that backups are always running and properly stored

Profile

• You have a technical degree and professional experiences in the banking sector at Enterprise level
• Excellent MS SQL Server and preferably Oracle database knowledge (AlwaysOn, Oracle Rac)
• Excellent knowledge of scripting (PowerShell and / or Python)
• Good T-SQL knowledge to analyze and improve script performances
• Good Linux knowledge (as power user)
• You are fluent in English (spoken and written), German and Italian are a plus
• Nice to have : IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM) agent knowledge (MS SQL server, Oracle), Couchbase or other NoSQL product (Couchbase, MongoDB)
