TalentCloud Group Recruitment seeks a Senior Data Platform Architect in Zurich, offering a hybrid work setup and a chance to influence a modern data landscape. The role blends strategic leadership with deep technical execution across data modelling, governance and platform design.

You will shape analytics, AI-ready data solutions and data pipelines using ETL/ELT, Kafka, NiFi, and modern data platforms, while aligning with business stakeholders and governance standards.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience in a Senior Data Architect / Data Platform Architect or comparable role.
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or related field.
• Strong experience in information architecture and data modelling.
• Relational database expertise including Oracle and SQL/DDL/PL/SQL.
• Experience with persistence technologies like document/JSON, graph, vector databases.
• Knowledge of modern Data Warehouse / Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures (Spark, Databricks).
• Experience with ETL/ELT and data pipelines (NiFi and/or Informatica).
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven integration patterns (CDC, Schema Registry).
• Interest in AI / Generative AI within data environments.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders.
• Fluent German and English are required.

• Define future data architecture direction and standards.
• Develop consistent data models across domains.
• Modernise integration architecture toward event-driven designs.
• Design data platforms, persistence strategies, and various databases.
• Contribute to Data Warehouse, Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures.
• Establish Data Governance, metadata management and data quality.
