Responsibilities include leading design sessions, guiding data pipelines on Databricks, Snowflake, and other platforms, participating in pre-sales, and mentoring teams while ensuring scalable, governed implementations across Azure, AWS, and GCP.

The Role

This is a strategic, client-facing position for someone who has already built a reputation in data architecture and wants to shape how a top-tier consultancy delivers data and AI at scale. You will provide long-term architectural vision across complex client engagements, from platform modernisation and governance to real-time architectures and AI operationalisation.

What you'll be doing

• Acting as trusted advisor to clients, leading design sessions, architecture reviews, and technology evaluations
• Taking part in pre-sales and bid activity, shaping compelling data and AI strategy narratives for prospective clients
• Designing and implementing sophisticated data architectures across cloud-native platforms, data mesh, and real-time systems
• Working across Azure, AWS, and GCP, knowing when each platform is the right fit
• Leading teams on flagship projects, ensuring clean, maintainable code and robust data pipelines
• Taking AI projects from prototype to production, with a focus on traceability and governed, compliant delivery
• Contributing to thought leadership, both internally and externally, and growing the talent around you

What you'll bring

• Deep expertise across AI and data solutions, with a clear understanding of their possibilities and limitations
• A track record leading technical pre-sales and bid management, shaping winning proposals
• Proficiency across multiple data platforms and cloud environments, including Databricks, Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake
• Comfort with distributed processing, data modelling, API design, containerisation, and data governance
• Strong communication skills at both management and technical expert level, in German and English
