Zusammenfassung

iGroove is hiring a Senior Data Pipeline Engineer to build and own our data ingestion backbone. You’ll scale a decade-long data stack feeding AI-powered product decisions, with production pipelines, crawlers, and integrations fueling real products.

You will work with product and engineering, shaping data collection and processing with architectural authority from day one. Remote-friendly with flexible hours; Zurich office available.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience building data pipelines and/or web crawling infrastructure in production environments.
• Strong Python skills: Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent.
• Experience with pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
• Solid understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar) and data modeling.
• Experience handling messy, inconsistent real-world data and building validation layers around it.
• Comfort with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• A track record of building systems that run reliably without constant supervision.
• Deep familiarity with AI tools and workflows. AI should already be part of how you work every day.

• Collaborate closely with product and engineering to shape data collection and processing.
• Design and build new pipelines where needed and evolve the architecture as we grow.
• Improve reliability, expand coverage, and add new sources for data.
• Provide architectural authority from day one and maintain end-to-end ownership.
