Qualifikationen

• University degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or a comparable education.
• 3+ years in data or software engineering positions.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining data products for data consumers.
• Knowledge of data analysis, data visualization, and data science concepts.
• Experience with data architectures such as Data Lake, Data Lakehouse, Medallion, or Data Products (Streaming & Batch).
• Experience with Cloud Data Platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or Amazon SageMaker.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Delta Lake, Airflow, Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform, FastAPI, and languages like Scala, R, Java, Typescript or .NET.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Familiarity with big data infrastructures and varied data types.
• Agile development and DevOps experience.
• Fluency in German and English.

Aufgaben

• Be a trusted advisor guiding clients to a technical data solution.
• Communicate the what, why, and how to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop, test, and monitor distributed data processing pipelines.
• Extrapolate diverse data sets to produce high-quality, reproducible datasets.
• Collaborate with Architects, Software Engineers, and Data Scientists.
• Understand producers and consumers to meet data service requirements.
• Deliver projects in an Agile way, iterating to generate value early.
