Trust in SODA is seeking a Senior Data Migration Engineer in Zurich for a hybrid role that blends data engineering, financial services, and software implementation. You will support migration and integration of investment and wealth management data, and work directly with clients as part of cross-border projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and data migration, plus strong analytical and client-facing skills.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years experience with a strong project delivery track record.
• 5+ years experience with Python and SQL.
• Background in data migration, data integration or data engineering.
• Experience within the Financial Services sector.
• Understanding of investment transactions, portfolio positions and asset classes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with clients.

Senior Data Migration Engineer - Financial Technology - Zurich - Hybrid

We're currently partnering with a fast-growing financial technology business that is expanding its Swiss team and looking to hire a Senior Data Migration Engineer.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role sitting at the intersection of Data Engineering, Financial Services and Software Implementation, supporting clients with the migration and integration of investment and wealth management data.

Responsibilities-

• Preparing, transforming, importing and reconciling investment data
• Developing Python scripts, SQL queries and ETL workflows
• Supporting data migrations, integrations and system implementations
• Configuring connections with custodian banks and financial systems
• Investigating data discrepancies and resolving migration/interface issues
• Working directly with clients and technical teams across Switzerland and Germany
• Taking ownership of increasingly complex migration workstreams

Requirements-

• 5+ Years Experience experience with a strong project delivery track record
• 5+ Years Experience with Python + SQL
• Background in data migration, data integration or data engineering
• Experience within the Financial Services sector

Experience with MongoDB, Wealth Management, Asset Management or Financial Software would be advantageous.
