Cloudera is seeking a customer-facing, hands-on technologist in Switzerland to join our Sales Engineering team. As a Senior Solutions Engineer you will own the technical sales process for enterprise data, AI platform solutions, and ML workflows.

You will design solutions using Cloudera technologies, demonstrate products, and collaborate with Account Managers to articulate business value. This role requires 8+ years in customer-facing roles, fluent German, some French, and willingness to travel.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 8 years in a customer-facing role, ideally pre-sales on big data or enterprise software.
• Fluent German language skills; French is a plus.
• Ability to present and demonstrate complex AI concepts and translate to business value.
• Experience with modern AI/ML ecosystems and data governance considerations.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Aufgaben

• Own the technical sales process from intro meetings to post-sale follow-ups for enterprise data and AI platforms.
• Discover new use cases and design solutions using Cloudera technologies.
• Demonstrate products and reference architectures to inspire customer decisions.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to show value and drive renewals and upsells.
• Contribute to external publicity through conferences, meetups, and webinars.
