Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager for Commercial/Office/Retail projects in Switzerland. You will lead pre- and post-contract cost management, feasibility studies, procurement reporting, and cost planning, while coordinating with clients and other consultants.

The role requires a university degree in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying, and 10+ years of experience, with strong knowledge of procurement, spreadsheets, and databases.

Competenze

• French language skills at C1 or mother tongue.
• University degree in Construction Economics, or Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in Cost Management.
• Good knowledge of construction methods and procurement.
• Experience with or managing teams using estimating tools and applications.
• Strong skills with spreadsheets and databases.
• Collaborative, able to build client and stakeholder relationships.
• Good organization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Proven cost/commercial management experience, ideally in consultancy.

Mansioni

• Pre and post-contract duties including cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account.
• Feasibility studies and procurement reports.
• Estimating and cost planning including final cost plan.
• Tendering and procurement activity and managing pre-qualification, tender list, preliminaries, tender analysis and documents.
• Timely and accurate cost checks and valuations.
• Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present to client.
• Interface with client and other consultants at all project stages.
• Participate in post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
• Perform cost risk analysis and contribute to value engineering; negotiate final accounts.
• Maintain central feedback on cost estimating and update best practices.
