Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Switzerland is seeking an experienced construction-based Senior Cost Manager to lead cost management on commercial, office and retail projects. The role focuses on pre and post-contract duties, cost estimation, procurement, tendering and stakeholder coordination across complex developments.

You will produce cost plans, manage tender analyses, prepare monthly post-contract cost reports and present findings to clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cost management.
• French language skills C1 or French mother tongue.
• University degree in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of procurement and all methods of construction.
• Experience with multiple estimating tools and applications.

Responsibilities

• Pre and post-contract duties including cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account.
• Completing feasibility studies and writing procurement reports.
• Estimating and cost planning including final cost plan.
• Tendering and procurement activity and compiling contractual documents.
• Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present to the client.
• Interfacing with client and other consultants at all project stages.
• Cost risk analysis and input into value engineering; negotiate and approve final accounts.
