Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Genf seeks a senior Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to lead pre and post-contract cost control for major projects. Responsibilities include cost estimates, procurement, tendering, and client reporting on international assignments.

The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying, with at least 10 years in cost management, and fluent French. This is a full-time position in Geneva with an international client base.

Qualifications

• University degree in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying is required.
• Minimum 10 years of cost management experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and procurement processes.
• Ability to manage teams and liaise with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, procurement and tendering activities.
• Conduct feasibility studies and write procurement reports.
• Estimate and cost plan, present final cost plan.
• Lead tendering activity and manage pre-qualification and tender analysis.
• Ensure timely, accurate cost checks and valuations.
• Produce monthly post-contract cost reports for clients.
