Job summary

nemensis ag partners with a globally active healthcare client in Switzerland to recruit a Senior Controlling & Reporting Specialist (m/f/d). The role: own month-end close for select entities, ensure Swiss GAAP FER accuracy, and manage tax-related ledger adjustments.

You will prepare financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS, Swiss GAAP and Swiss GAAP FER, coordinate audits, and support entity integration for new activities, while strengthening internal controls and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Accounting (Bachelor's or Master's).
• Sound expertise in financial reporting and accounting standards.
• Fluent English communication, both written and spoken.
• Chartered Accountant qualification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end closing for assigned legal entities, ensuring accurate Swiss GAAP FER and tax-related ledger adjustments.
• Prepare financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS, Swiss GAAP and Swiss GAAP FER, and act as main contact for Swiss GAAP FER audits.
• Coordinate audit documentation and liaise with external auditors to meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Drive legal entity integration projects and support the accounting setup for new business activities.
• Collaborate with Tax team on recurring tax matters and ledger adjustments.
• Manage wind-down of an international inventory hub in Latin America.
• Safeguard a robust internal control environment through local procedures aligned with corporate standards.
• Act as trusted partner for cross-functional finance teams, driving process improvements.

For our client, a globally active healthcare company specialising in women's health with operations in more than 60 countries, we are looking for a Senior Controlling & Reporting Specialist (m/f/d). Your profile

• Degree in Finance or Accounting (Bachelor's or Master's) plus at least ten years of experience in accounting or finance within a corporate environment


• A qualification as Chartered Accountant is an advantage


• Sound expertise in financial reporting and accounting standards, paired with strong analytical skills


• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken


• Confident, solution-oriented personality with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills


• Flexible, resilient mindset with the willingness to take on new projects at short notice


• Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA and advanced Excel skills is a plus
