Mibelle Group in Switzerland seeks a Finance and Controlling Lead to oversee general ledger, SAP FI, tax, and closes under Swiss GAAP FER, while leading a small team. This role combines hands-on accounting with project leadership, SAP implementations, and process harmonisation across international finance teams.
Fluent German and good English are required as you collaborate with IT and Controlling to improve data quality and reporting.
Your tasks:
Accounting and closing:
Take responsibility for general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed-asset accounting, and deliver timely monthly, quarterly and annual closes under Swiss GAAP FER and local statutory requirements.
Team leadership:
Lead, coach and develop a team of three, setting clear priorities, building capabilities and ensuring consistently high-quality work.
Tax and audit:
Prepare or review tax and VAT returns and act as the main contact for external auditors and relevant authorities.
SAP and data quality:
Act as the SAP FI key user, working with Finance and IT to ensure sound processes, reliable data, appropriate access rights and accurate reporting.
Project management:
Lead finance projects, such as SAP implementations or shared service centre set-up. Manage requirements, timelines, resources and risks, and coordinate testing, migration and handover to operations.
Processes and controls:
Standardise accounting processes, strengthen internal controls and work closely with Controlling, IT and international finance teams.
Your profile:
A recognised finance and accounting qualification, such as a Swiss federal certificate or diploma, or an equivalent qualification; several years of accounting experience with responsibility for financial closing.
Technical expertise:
Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER and Swiss accounting requirements, with practical experience in tax and VAT matters. IFRS knowledge is an advantage, not a requirement.
Systems knowledge:
Strong hands-on SAP experience, particularly in FI, a good understanding of interfaces with Controlling and operational processes, and good Excel skills.
Project and people leadership:
Proven experience leading teams and finance projects, such as SAP implementations, process harmonisation or the set-up or development of a shared service centre.
Approach and languages:
A structured, reliable and delivery-focused working style, a willingness to remain hands-on and clear communication skills. Excellent German and good English.
What we offer:
Combine operational responsibility with the opportunity to develop a team and help shape the future of our financial processes and systems
A modern company with modern infrastructure
Autonomous work scheduling and organization
Above-average benefits (paternity leave, pension plan, daily sickness benefit insurance, etc.)
