Job summary

Jobgether is partnering with a Swiss team to hire an experienced Container Engineer. You will help build and operate a high-performance, multi-tenant Kubernetes platform across regions from a fully remote setup in Switzerland.

The role blends software engineering, platform architecture, and SRE practices to improve reliability and efficiency at scale. You will define SLIs/SLOs, lead ORRs, manage incidents, and drive automation and secure deployment processes across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform engineering, Kubernetes, or production infra.
• Experience with multi-tenant Kubernetes and on-call rotations.
• Strong automation, tooling, and incident-response capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define SLIs/SLOs and error budgets for the container platform.
• Lead ORRs and improve uptime with observability and tracing.
• Build automation, controllers, operators, and platform APIs.
• Design CI/CD pipelines and safe rollout mechanisms.
• Implement security automation and runbooks to reduce toil.
• Develop automated tests for platform releases.
