The Opportunity

In the Procurement area, you will assist organizations in implementing company-wide transformation programs—from strategy and concept development to execution.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Support CPOs and Procurement Leaders in implementing transformations as procurement becomes digital, consumer needs evolve, and procurement functions undergo fundamental changes.
• Collaborate with clients to develop, deliver, and become a trusted advisor in the next generation of procurement.
• Lead digital procurement transformation initiatives and advise clients on driving top-line and bottom-line improvements.
• Utilize existing and emerging technologies (e.g., generative AI, Procure-to-Pay, Source-to-Contract solutions) to facilitate these transformations.
• Contribute to client projects, gradually leading sub-work streams, and work within multidisciplinary teams (e.g., Technology, Risk, Finance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions) to deliver high-quality services aligned with our global methodologies and tools.
• Support business development by developing EY knowledge and concepts, and by establishing and maintaining internal and external relationships.
• Enhance your management consulting and procurement skills to become a valued contributor to client transformations and your personal career growth.
• Identify business opportunities at client sites and assist in developing proposals and responses to RFPs.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Degree in economics, industrial engineering, supply chain, procurement, or similar, with excellent academic results.
• 1-4 years of relevant experience in areas such as procurement strategy, category management, operating models, supplier management, source-to-contract, order-to-pay, or digital procurement transformation.
• Strong interest in digital technologies (e.g., generative AI, RPA, Blockchain, source-to-pay tools) and some experience applying these technologies.
• Knowledge of procurement solutions like SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jagger, Zycus, GEP, Ivalua, or others is important.
• Sector experience in Consumer Products, Life Sciences, and/or Industrial Products.
• Willingness to travel regionally and globally as needed.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of German and French is highly valuable.
