Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Project Scheduler/Planner for our Data Centre team in Geneva. The role focuses on maintaining the master schedule, coordinating contract packages, and delivering progress reports on large-scale construction projects to support client objectives.

You will work with a multinational team in a fast-paced environment requiring strong analytical and communication skills and provide input on project controls and site logistics planning.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in project planning and scheduling, with a focus on complex construction projects.
• Experience in coordinating multiple sources of schedule performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project status reports for large scale projects.
• Excellent command of English; French language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor master plan schedule
• Prepare and monitor tasks ensuring satisfactory realization of project requirements against the project schedule
• Integrate various contract packages into master plan schedule
• Review contractor’s submitted schedule and make recommendations to client
• Prepare regular internal/external weekly and monthly progress report for management and client
• Develop a project control procedure to monitor the progress of project
• Interact with contractor and verify the project data to update project schedule
• Assess any contractor’s extension of time claim and prepare defense report
• Put forward recommendation report for any contractor’s EOT claim
• Analyze critical path and constraints to determine the effect of changes to project schedule
• Work out site logistic planning for project
• Prepare and propose ‘micro-management’ schedules for critical elements of work
