You will own technical work packages, coordinate design changes, and ensure documentation, quality, and timelines are met while collaborating with cross-functional teams across Europe and the USA.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in composite structures design in regulated industries.
• Proficiency with 3D modelling and drafting tools (NX or similar).
• Experience with composite design methodologies and Fibersim or equivalent.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop composite components and assemblies for high-performance applications.
• Propose and evaluate structural concepts with focus on weight, performance, and manufacturability.
• Support and coordinate engineering changes throughout the product lifecycle.
• Take ownership of technical work packages, ensuring delivery in line with project scope and timelines.
• Create and maintain 3D models, 2D drawings, and product structures using CAD and PLM tools.
• Prepare and manage composite manufacturing data and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality requirements, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams across engineering and production.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders at different organizational levels.
