Zusammenfassung

Swissquote is seeking a Crypto Compliance Officer in the Monitoring Team to strengthen AML/CTF controls for digital assets. You will lead crypto due diligence, conduct blockchain analyses, and help document Source of Funds/Wealth while aligning with Swiss regulations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law or Economics or proven relevant AML/CTF experience with digital assets.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years in AML/CTF compliance within financial services or digital assets.
• Blockchain analysis, crypto due diligence, and Source of Funds/Source of Wealth experience.
• Experience with Lukka, TRM Labs, Chainalysis or equivalents.
• Knowledge of Swiss AML laws (AMLA, AMLO-FINMA, CDB) and related regulations.
• Excellent English and French; additional languages are a plus.
• Analytical, writing and documentation skills; multitasking under pressure.

• Identify suspicious activities and escalating sanctions exposure to Compliance teams.
• Participate in regulatory projects related to digital assets; optimize internal processes and guidelines.
• Draft, review and maintain internal policies and procedures for digital assets and crypto activities.
• Provide training for new employees and guide Compliance teams on digital tools and systems.
• Respond to inquiries from regulators, counterparties, and FINMA on digital assets and crypto matters.

Are you eager to take up a new challenge? Join the Compliance Department as a Crypto Compliance Officer in the Monitoring Team. You will have multiple tasks which include:

• Review and validate digital asset deposits and withdrawals from an AML/CTF standpoint, in accordance with the Bank’s delegation framework.
• Perform crypto due diligence and blockchain investigations, including the analysis of monitoring alerts, wallets, counterparties and exposure to high-risk activities.
• Assess and document clients’ digital asset-related Source of Funds and Source of Wealth.
• Identify and elevate potentially suspicious activities and sanctions-related exposure to the relevant Compliance teams.
• Participate in key regulatory projects related to digital assets and contribute to the optimization of internal processes and guidelines.
• Draft, review, and maintain internal policies, procedures, and guidelines related to digital assets and crypto-related activities.
• Provide training and support to new employees on operational processes, and deliver guidance to Compliance teams on the effective use of digital tools and systems.
• Respond to inquiries and information requests from regulatory authorities, counterparties, and FINMA regarding digital assets, cryptocurrency-related matters, and associated compliance topics.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Law or Economics, or proven relevant experience in AML/CTF compliance, including digital assets.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position within a financial institution or in an AML/CTF compliance role related to digital assets.
• Proven experience in blockchain analysis, crypto due diligence, Source of Funds and Source of Wealth assessments, with a strong understanding of related financial crime risks.
• Experience with blockchain analytics tools such as Lukka, TRM Labs, Chainalysis or equivalent solutions.
• Knowledge of Swiss AML laws, including AMLA, AMLO-FINMA and CDB, and other applicable regulations.
• Excellent command of English and French. Other languages are a strong asset.
• Analytical and methodological approach, with strong writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Strong team player who enjoys working in a multicultural, dynamic, technological and international environment.
