Job summary

Jupiter Wealth Advisors SA in Geneva and Zurich seeks a Senior Compliance Officer to lead and oversee our Swiss compliance framework. You will work closely with Relationship Managers, senior management, auditors and regulators as a second line of defense.

You will manage onboarding, AML/KYC, source of wealth, risk classification and ongoing monitoring for high-net-worth clients, ensuring FINMA compliance and strong internal controls across our Geneva and Zurich operations.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years of relevant compliance experience in private banking, wealth management or comparable financial institution.
• Ideally with background in EAM/MFO sector.
• Strong hands-on experience in client onboarding, AML/KYC, enhanced due diligence and ongoing monitoring.
• Solid understanding of Swiss regulatory environment and FINMA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as single point of contact for regulatory matters relating to Swiss business and oversee regulatory compliance.
• Manage and review client onboarding, including KYC, source of wealth/funds, beneficial ownership and risk classification.
• Approve client onboarding in line with Swiss requirements and internal policies.
• Ensure compliance with FINMA regulations, AML, sanctions regimes and internal standards.
• Perform ongoing due diligence and periodic reviews of existing client relationships.
• Monitor transactions and client activity for AML/sanctions or reputational risks.
• Maintain compliance documentation and internal controls.
• Monitor regulatory developments in Switzerland and implement new requirements.
• Assist with regulatory reporting, audits and interactions with regulators and auditors.
• Provide compliance guidance and training to employees across Switzerland.
