Job summary

Pictet Wealth Management is seeking a Business Risk Manager based in Zurich to strengthen the Swiss Asia team. You will be the go-to AML expert, guiding Front Office at prospection, onboarding, and client lifecycle, while coordinating with bankers and R&C functions.

The role involves monitoring risk indicators, supporting annual risk self-assessments, and acting as the main contact for auditors. Swiss residency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of private banking front-line processes experience and/or AML related topics.
• In-depth understanding of the wealth management industry.
• Fluency in English; German, Mandarin or French a plus.
• Strong understanding of front-line processes (onboarding, documentation, investments) and related regulatory requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal, relational and communication skills.
• Accountable, solutions-oriented and proactive mindset.
• Ability to remain independent; Swiss residency required.

Responsibilities

• Go-to person for AML; guide Front Office at prospection level.
• Work with Bankers on client onboarding through guidance and reviewing KYC.
• Advise Front Office on client lifecycle (e.g., transaction clarification, periodic review).
• Act as main contact for Swiss Asia front-staff and support resolution of issues.
• Monitor indicators and support RMs and CROs in risk & compliance obligations.
• Provide active support in annual risk self-assessment of the Zone (RCSA).
• Serve as a key contact for auditors and follow up on recommendations.
• Train and educate on risk & compliance matters.
• Report and communicate risk & compliance matters to Zone Management and PWM R&C.
• Advise on improvements to risk & compliance management and keep up with regulatory changes.
• Share knowledge and best practices with BRM Community.
