J.P. Morgan in Zürich seeks an experienced Compliance Officer at the Vice President level to serve as Local Country Compliance Officer and MLRO for our Swiss operations.

You will collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure adherence to AML, sanctions, and regulatory requirements across Investment Banking and Payments services. You will provide timely regulatory guidance, implement and update policies, conduct risk assessments, and liaise with FINMA and auditors.

Qualificações

• Fluency in English and German required.
• Experience in financial crime/compliance within a financial institution.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the Local Country Compliance Officer and MLRO.
• Provide AML guidance in screening/monitoring and SAR filings.
• Advise on regulatory issues, firm policies, and procedures.
• Inform governing bodies and the group Compliance functions of regulatory changes in Switzerland.
• Implement and update policies on AML, sanctions, and conduct.
• Review new products per the product approval process.
• Contribute to risk assessments and regional control programs.
• Identify and address regulatory breaches, incidents, and complaints.
• Deliver relevant compliance training.
• Liaise with regulators (e.g., FINMA) and auditors as appropriate.
• Collaborate with business and IT to ensure controls and data privacy.
