Mathrix in Zug, Switzerland is seeking a Senior C/C++ Low Latency Engineer to design, implement and optimize high-performance data pipelines and trading software. You will work in a small, hands-on technology team with flat hierarchy, delivering fast, reliable code for automated trading across multiple exchanges.

Qualifications

• Extensive and thorough knowledge of C and C++ in Linux.
• Ability to verify the assembly output of the compiler.
• Understanding system calls and their costs on GNU/Linux.
• Knowledge of x64 hardware for efficient usage.
• Ability to select or implement storage structures with time complexity in mind.
• Experience with debuggers and profilers.
• Operative coding habits with Git and clear documentation.
• Willingness to absorb and share knowledge within the team.
• Proactive, self-starter, honest, flexible and stress-resistant.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, monitor and maintain large-scale parallel applications and databases.
