Role Overview
As Senior Business Controller, you will own the P&L of a dedicated entity and act as a key finance business partner to local management and operational teams. In addition, you will coordinate and review the reporting packages for six entities for Group consolidation, ensuring accurate system entry, timely submission, and reliable reporting to Group.
Your Responsibilities
- Own the P&L of a dedicated entity, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance monitoring, and variance analysis
- Act as finance business partner to local management, providing clear financial insights, recommendations, and decision support
- Lead the preparation of budget, forecast, and annual close meetings, ensuring relevant analyses, documentation, and stakeholder alignment
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for the assigned entity
- Coordinate and review the reporting packages for six entities for Group consolidation, ensuring correct system entry and alignment with Group requirements
- Work closely with local entity representatives to ensure timely submission of recurring reporting obligations
- Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and drive corrective actions where needed
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Drive consistency, quality, and comparability of financial reporting across entities
- Support process improvements, system enhancements, and standardization of controlling and reporting practices
- Build financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Additional duties and broader finance-related responsibilities may be assigned as business needs evolve
Your Profile
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Typically 7+ years of experience in controlling, FP&A, accounting, or finance business partnering, ideally in an international environment
- Strong experience with P&L ownership, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
- Solid understanding of consolidation, reporting packages, and group reporting requirements
- Experience working with local finance teams or entity representatives and coordinating recurring reporting deliverables
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP or comparable ERP/reporting systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn financial data into clear business insights
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions, entities, and seniority levels
- Structured, reliable, and pragmatic working style with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment
- Professional fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
