For a confidential mandate in an international group with a strong European footprint, we are looking for a high-potential Finance Controller- Transformation and Strategic Finance to join its finance organization in Baar.

This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with 3–5 years of experience only, either from consulting / accounting advisory / finance transformation or from an international corporate environment, who wants to move beyond pure reporting and contribute to the development and implementation of a broader finance roadmap.

The opportunity

Working closely with senior finance leadership and stakeholders across several European markets, you will contribute to the continued development of the Group’s finance organization.

The role combines finance transformation, strategic analysis, project management and international stakeholder coordination.

You will help translate strategic priorities into concrete finance initiatives, processes and tools, and play an active role in driving their implementation across the organization.

Your Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of the finance transformation roadmap


• Lead and support cross-functional finance projects from concept through implementation


• Review existing finance processes and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization and improvement


• Develop reporting, analytical tools and management information to support business and strategic decision-making


• Support budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and selected strategic finance initiatives


• Coordinate finance topics across different entities and countries

Your profile

We are particularly interested in candidates who combine strong finance foundations with a transformation mindset.

• Approx. 3–5 years of relevant professional experience


• Background in Finance Transformation, Accounting Advisory, CFO Advisory, Consulting, Audit/Advisory, or a transformation-oriented finance role in an international company


• Strong understanding of finance processes, reporting and financial analysis


• Exposure to process improvement, transformation or implementation projects


• Comfortable working across countries, functions and seniority levels


• Strong international mindset


• Fluent German and English required


• Strong analytical and conceptual skills


• Excellent communicator able to make complex finance topics clear and accessible


• Hands-on, pragmatic and comfortable operating in an environment that is still developing


• Able to combine strategic thinking with execution
