Zusammenfassung

MCM WORLDWIDE seeks a Global Accounting & Consolidation Analyst to support its finance operations. You will assist monthly closings, review intercompany submissions, and prepare executive reports with insights on performance variances.

As a trusted partner to regional teams, you will drive SAP governance, budgeting support, and forecasting collaboration while leveraging IFRS and advanced analytics to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifikationen

• A higher degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years experience in financial analysis, reporting, or consolidation in a multi-national company (preferably in the luxury, retail, or fashion sectors)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS;
• Very strong knowledge of SAP and of Microsoft Excel as well as experience with consolidation and reporting tools (e.g. Workday Adaptive)
• Experience with data visualization and BI tools is advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills
• Adaptability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Assist in the monthly closing and consolidation process of global financial results, ensuring compliance with IFRS as well as internal reporting and closing processes.
• Review and validate financial submissions from subsidiaries, including intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for the Executive Board, including analysis and commentary on performance trends and variances.
• Act as Supervisor and Administrator of the global chart of accounts and of cost/profit centers in SAP as well as of the Group Finance Manual.
• Support the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with regional finance teams.
• Provide analysis to ensure alignment between global financial goals and regional performance.
• Act as a financial business partner for assigned regions and functions, providing insights and recommendations to optimize performance.
• Analyze key financial metrics, trends, and variances to identify risks and opportunities.
• Drive improvements in reporting and consolidation processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives as required.
