Zusammenfassung

ELCA Cloud Services is looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on Azure and ELCA Sovereign Cloud. You will work closely with development, security, and operations teams to improve deployment reliability, system performance, and cloud maturity.

This role requires strong IaC experience (Terraform, Puppet), robust CI/CD pipelines, and solid Linux/Windows administration.

Qualifikationen

• Senior DevOps / Azure DevOps Engineer with proven experience.
• Strong Microsoft Azure services expertise (compute, networking, storage, identity).
• Solid Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform required; Puppet or similar).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Good Linux and/or Windows system administration knowledge.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• Experience with Git and version control; security, networking and governance concepts.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Bachelor's degree.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure with IaC.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated workflows.
• Ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability of Azure environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to support cloud-native and hybrid workloads.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Apply DevOps best practices related to version control, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in architecture design and technical decision-making.
• Support incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous optimization.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps standards and documentation.
