Zusammenfassung

Swiss Himmel GmbH is seeking an experienced Solution Architect and Senior Azure DevOps Lead to design, build and operate a secure cloud data platform hosting AI/ML models. You will own Azure infra architecture, automate provisioning, and drive DevOps best practices across a cross-functional team.

You will lead security/compliance, manage Databricks Unity Catalog, and mentor engineers while collaborating with compliance, risk, and business stakeholders in Basel.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in cloud engineering, DevOps, or solution architecture with Azure.
• Proven track record designing and running Azure DevOps pipelines for infrastructure automation.
• Production experience with Kubernetes (AKS), Databricks, and Apache Airflow.
• Experience implementing data governance and IAM controls (Unity Catalog or equivalent).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to mentor engineers.

Aufgaben

• Architect and lead delivery of enterprise cloud data platform hosting critical apps and AI models.
• Design and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation.
• Administer Databricks Unity Catalog and workspace governance, policies, and costs.
• Manage Databricks workspaces — clusters, pools, autoscaling for performance and cost.
• Deploy and operate Apache Airflow on Kubernetes.
• Own security and compliance posture of cloud infra (NSGs, firewalls, IAM).
• Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Onboard new applications and use cases with Compliance and Risk teams.
