Senior ASIC Design Engineer - Neuchâtel

An exceptional opportunity has arisen with a leading innovator in the semiconductor industry, specialising in ultra-low power RFID integrated circuits. The company is seeking a highly skilled Senior ASIC Design Engineer to join its growing digital design team. This role offers the chance to contribute to award-winning RFID solutions within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

The successful Senior ASIC Design Engineer will be responsible for driving digital design projects from specification and system-level studies through to RTL implementation and verification. The role involves close cooperation with analog designers and production support teams, and offers the opportunity to shape and improve design methodologies across a global team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement ultra-low power digital circuits
2. Perform RTL design and architecture definition
3. System-level integration in a mixed-signal environment
4. Support IP verification using UVM methodology

Key Requirements:

1. Proven experience in front-end digital design
2. Solid understanding of low-power design techniques
3. Experience with synthesis, physical implementation, and STA is a plus
4. Familiarity with UVM and analog modelling is highly advantageous
5. Knowledge of communication protocols
6. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to contribute effectively in cross-functional, multi-site teams
