Job summary

Swiss Re seeks a Senior Digital & Technology Risk Manager specialising in AI to shape enterprise AI risk governance, policies and oversight. You will collaborate across AI governance, technology, and business units to translate evolving AI risks into practical controls and reporting for senior management.

You will build and mature policies, standards and risk methodologies, lead risk assessments, and provide independent challenge to ensure responsible AI adoption across the group.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in operational risk management, technology risk, AI governance, risk advisory or assurance.
• Experience developing or reviewing enterprise policies, standards or methodologies.
• Strong practical understanding of AI technologies and governance expectations.
• Ability to lead risk assessments and communicate conclusions to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken English; ability to translate complex topics into clear guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the AI risk framework, governance model and control objectives.
• Lead independent Second Line of Defence oversight of AI risk management.
• Translate AI risks and regulatory developments into practical requirements.
• Provide credible challenge to management and governance functions.
• Prepare risk reporting for senior management and committees.
