Amazon's AWS Forward Deployed Engineer team seeks a Senior FDE to embed inside strategic enterprise environments, designing, building, deploying AI-powered production systems alongside customer teams.

You will own outcomes end-to-end, create reusable architectures and patterns, mentor engineers, and drive AI adoption across customer workflows while working in customers' infrastructure and delivering measurable business results.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Aufgaben

• Embed within customer engineering teams. Translate business problems into scalable AI-enabled production systems. Travel up to 30–50%.
• Build production AI applications powering AI and agentic workflows, integrate data sources, APIs, and apps into cohesive AI experiences.
• Own production from design through rollout and operationalization; monitor incidents and implement guardrails and CI/CD.
• Accelerate customer transformation by codifying reusable patterns, accelerators, and reference architectures.
• Build and maintain internal AI tools and customer-facing assets to scale the FDE motion.
• Route field signal into the closed-loop product feedback mechanism and contribute to AWS primitives.
• Raise the bar by mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering best practices.
