Zusammenfassung

Polus in Switzerland seeks a senior AI/ML performance lead to own AI performance across the business, working directly with the CEO and leadership to shape how we deploy and optimise AI across products. You will influence engineering and product strategy and drive efficiency across platforms.

You will monitor, test and improve AI systems, maintain benchmarks and costs, stay ahead of new models, and coach engineers to raise AI knowledge throughout the company as it grows.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience optimising large-scale AI/ML systems in production.
• Hands-on knowledge of LLMs, transformers, and deployment trade-offs.
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with ML tools (MLflow, Weights & Biases, Ray).
• Experience with cloud AI infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and inference serving (vLLM, TorchServe).
• Data-driven problem solving with clear metrics and business cases.
• Good communication to influence across teams.
