F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG is seeking an imaging-focused machine learning engineer within the AI Enablement team to bridge scientific intuition with quantitative analysis in large-scale, state-of-the-art datasets.

You will design, develop, and test robust AI/ML CV applications and backend pipelines for high-throughput imaging, including cell segmentation, tissue analysis, and multimodal data fusion. Expect collaboration across scientists, product leaders, and software engineers in Basel.

Qualifications

• PhD, Master’s with 3–5 years, or Bachelor’s with 4–7 years in CS/biomedical field with ML/vision focus.
• Strong proficiency with AI/ML frameworks and CV libraries.
• Deep expertise in CV algorithms, segmentation, detection, and image analysis.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and test scalable AI/ML CV web apps and pipelines for high-throughput imaging.
• Build and evaluate state-of-the-art CV and deep learning models for biological imaging.
• Develop data pipelines and cloud infrastructure for large-scale imaging datasets.
• Contribute to engineering/MLOps processes and code reviews.
• Stay updated on CV tech and promote collaboration across teams.
